Who To Love When You’re Down
Instrumentation – 2 voices & steel-string guitar
Duration – c.3’24”
Written in Sleaford/Brighton 2008
First performed by Lee Westwood, time and place unknown
Composed in my grandparents’ conservatory on a grey and rainy day, at a time when my grandma had begun to lose her memory. As with ‘Porcelain’, this piece was recorded with Gunes Omer over the Winter of 2008, for the album ‘Dragon’, and the second vocal line was in fact written by Gunes.
